Ian Wright is a well respected and sought after equestrian coach.
Ian trained with and rode for Olympic Three Day Event gold medalist and Olympic team trainer Bertie Hill and subsequently went on to have a successful career Eventing, Show Jumping and as a pro National Hunt race jockey. Ian's coaching career has taken him into Europe and as far as the Middle East. Now based in North Devon, Ian holds regular monthly clinics in and around the South West and Wales as well as working with RoR (Retraining of Racehorse) Group.
Ian keeps his training straightforward, empathic and easy to understand. He puts his focus as much on the horses' education as the riders - improving the knowledge, skills and confidence for both.
Ian is happy to work with partnerships in all aspects and at all stages of their training from novice to advanced level.
Ian is a qualified BHS Instructor, a fully certified first-aider and also holds the appropriate instructor insurance.
